Intercom – a new way for TIL to interact with our customers.

As part of the development of Mercury – TIL Freight’s new customer portal, we have installed a chat style communication tool within the Mercury platform and on our TILFreight.kiwi website, says TIL Freight’s General Manager, Sales & Marketing, Andy Watt.

“This allows our customers to chat live with one of our team replacing the previous forms or email addresses,” explains Andy.

“At the initial stage all communication through the new platform is being managed by the Customer Service team in Nelson. We will be rolling out this platform to further to our depot network for depots to interact and answer customer queries directly in the system. “

Andy says positive early feedback from customers and staff shows there are advantages for further development of Intercom and to roll it out further.
